So Saturdays in Shanghai are for cafes, shopping, the occasional chin wag on Skype and a Chinese foot massage at Dragonfly..... Tis the most therapeutic activity that 99% of the female population enjoy. For 150 rmb (around 15 quid) you will receive a 60 minute massage from an extremely kind foot masseuse. Throw is an extra 11 quid and she will give you a good old foot scrub and pedicure. I have good reason to do this every week...unfortunately I have to try on all the shoe samples, and since I am the only female in my office with size 37 feet I have the joy of my feet being put under some serious scrutiny. As wonderful as this sounds, it really is the hardest part of my job. Working with the biggest foot critics known to man is not the most comfortable situation to be in,  especially when they criticize EVERY woman who walks down the street 'Look how long that womans toes are...did you see her hairy toes'! So people are working with my feet everyday and the least I can do is make them smell good and look pretty! Since working as a shoe designer I have realised the importance of paying special attention to your feet...but ladies I will give you a lecture about that later!
